INTRO TO PITCHING
Have a story you’re passionate about, but new to pitching?*
Receive a review of any materials you supply, with feedback on your story arc, setting, and characters that can be discussed via call. Learn about the pros and cons of traditional, indie, and direct market publishing, what the pitch process entails and the necessary anatomy of an industry-standard graphic novel proposal.
* = This is especially useful for folks without an agent, or who may be on the fence about getting one, as a solid pitch often speeds this process up.
PROPOSAL REVIEW
Proposal in good shape and feeling ready to pitch?
This review includes a detailed evaluation of your current pitch materials, story, synopsis, supplemental artwork, sample pages, world building, etc. to make the most competitive and compelling proposal possible.
SENSITIVITY READ
Assessment of your project (both writing and artwork) for authenticity and care.
Can offer insight on working class, mixed race, mixed Black, Indigenous, queer, femme, and/or nonbinary characters, rural, small town, and/or big city settings, and sociopolitical climate and history of the US.
